Srinagar, Apr 28 (KNO): Bollywood actor Atul Kulkarni on Monday encouraged tourists from across the country to visit Kashmir, describing it as safe and beautiful land. Speaking to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), in Srinagar Atul Kulkarni said he is not in Kashmir for any movie shoot, film promotion, or special event, nor does he have any security with him. He said he has come to the Valley simply to send a message of hope and trust. “This is our own Kashmir. Everybody should come here without any fear,” he said, urging people to visit and support the valley. “If you have cancelled your bookings, you should rebook and come back. Kashmir is safe,” he said. Atul also pointed out that while 90 percent of bookings may have been cancelled, the remaining 10 percent of people are enjoying their time in Kashmir safely. “It is not fair that only a few people visit and the rest are scared. Forty lakh people were supposed to come, and they should still come. Kashmir is absolutely fine,” he said. He added that tourists should not hesitate, and everyone must experience the warmth and beauty of Kashmir for themselves. Notably, Atul Kulkarni’s message comes as a boost to Kashmir’s tourism sector, which plays a vital role in the local economy—(KNO)
